Accreditation

We believe that maintenance of excellence in teaching can only be achieved by providing top quality instructors. In GKR this refers to the instructors' abilities in karate, their teaching skills and personal attributes. To ensure GKR provides only the best in top quality instructors to student across the globe, the Instructor Accreditation Program has been implemented.

The Instructor Accreditation Program has three stages:

1. A police check to ensure there would be no cause for concern in the instructor's background. There is a requirement for all instructors to be of good character hence making these checks important, especially given their frequent interactions with children and duty of care.

2. A potential instructor is required to complete a first aid course of an appropriate level in order than they may be able to deal with multiple major and minor medical emergencies.

3. Assessment by a Senior Instructor on his or her skills in both technical and teaching ability.

At the completion of the program, the instructor is issue with photo identification, carried to demonstrate their accreditation which is valid for as long as GKR is satisfied that that the instructor in question is maintaining the high standards required.
